The legalisation of a document for international use involves obtaining an ‘apostille’, an official stamp or certificate issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office or the relevant embassy or consulate. The apostille signifies that the document in question is valid.
A document may require a single certificate or apostille from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, while some countries may require a second certificate from their embassy as well. If an error is made or the documents are not in the correct format they will be rejected and returned, which can cause delays and additional costs.
At Heald Solicitors in Milton Keynes, our expert Notary team can manage the process of obtaining legalisation with an apostille and other necessary certification on your behalf.
We work quickly and efficiently with excellent attention to detail to ensure that your paperwork is processed without unnecessary delay.
Our service includes the following:

If an error is made or the documents are not in the correct format they will be rejected and returned to you, which can cause delays and additional costs. As a Registered Business User of the service, we are able to attend in person to obtain an apostille on your behalf.
