Tom helps corporate clients with contractual disputes including the sale and hire of goods litigation, contentious insolvency (such as misfeasance claims and reviewable transactions), misrepresentation claims; contested debt claims; and costs recovery. He also has experience with banking and financial litigation having acted for a range of clients in respect of the mis-selling of Interest Rate Swap derivate products. Whilst primarily helping businesses clients, Tom is also comfortable advising on consumer litigation and helping individuals with their disputes.
There have been several high-profile mis-selling scandals in recent years, of which Tom spearheaded Heald’s successful recovery of millions of pounds for commercial and individual clients alike, including winning over £1M for client’s who were victims of timeshare fraud.

Tom’s Qualifications
- Before pursuing a career in law, Tom worked in financial services and marketing, both of which have given him invaluable insights and experience when advising clients on financial or mi-selling disputes.
- Tom has a degree from the University of Sussex and a Masters from the University of Westminster.
- Tom did his legal training at BPP Law School London and qualified as a solicitor in 2008.
It’s not all about work
Tom says he spends half of his spare time entertaining his children and the other half telling them to put their shoes on. When he’s not taxiing his children somewhere, Tom will be either gardening, walking or watching the cricket.
