What is involved?
Please note: In the event that the claim is defended, an issued claim will proceed to trial. Heald can manage this for you and we look to minimise the costs in doing so. It will be a separate instruction to the debt claiming process and will go to the litigation department where our hourly rates will apply.
The time scale will be in months, and the costs will depend on the response from the defendant.
Please note that claims of less than £10,000 will be in the small claims court and your legal fees will not be recoverable from the defendant.
